CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking skilled and motivated CNC Lathe and Manual CNC Machinists as well as CNC Machine Operators to join our team in Conway, NH. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and manual CNC machines to produce high-quality components from a variety of materials, including metals and plastics. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, precision machining experience, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from blueprints, customer drawings, and DXF files
• Program jobs into CNC lathes and manual CNC machines
• Set up machines and perform accurate and efficient machining operations
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks per manufacturer’s guidelines
• Maintain logs for preventive maintenance
• Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
• Monitor tool and machine performance and report any malfunctions
• Track and report scrap material
• Ensure final products meet dimensional specifications and quality standards
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED (Technical/vocational school preferred)
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret job specifications
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and computer-aided manufacturing software is a plus
• Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, oils, and metal shavings

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:

• Safety glasses
• Safety shoes
• Gloves (for handling sharp materials)
• Ear protection (as required when machines are in operation)

Location: Conway, NH
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
