We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to support our Creative Services team in enhancing user experience and bringing fresh, engaging ideas to our web presence. In this role, you’ll be responsible for updating and maintaining our existing websites, designing compelling graphics for digital use, and contributing to the design and development of new web projects. DESPCRIPTION
This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to support the design, maintenance, and enhancement of departmental and agency websites across the County. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, solid communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. While experience with WordPress, Magnolia, or OpenText is not required, familiarity with these content management systems (CMS) is highly desirable.
Job Duties include :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
The equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience developing or managing websites/page content and performing basic computer graphic web design.
Education Substitution:
Completion of 30 semester or 45 quarter units of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Graphics, or Web Design courses from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
