We are looking for a Warehouse Associate/ Forklift Operator who excels in operating a forklift and possesses strong warehouse management skills. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently managing IT assets, maintaining accurate inventory records, and adhering to data sanitization protocols.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a forklift to move materials, unload trucks, and manage inventory within the warehouse.
- Capturing and uploading relevant device information into the inventory management system.
- Executing data wiping procedures using Blanco software.
- Sorting and routing assets based on technical relevance, and internal components.
- Following strict data sanitization and destruction procedures in compliance with regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adapting to changing workloads and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in IT asset management.
- Proficiency in operating a Raymond Standup Pacer forklift and Sit-Down Forklift
- Basic knowledge of office and enterprise-grade IT equipment.
- Attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Essential Requirements: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain stationary throughout the 8-10 hour shift
- Must be able to move material up to 50 lbs.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.
