Job Title: UX Researcher (III)

Location: Sunnyvale CA (Hybrid – Tue, Wed, Thur Onsite for 3 days)

Duration: 6 months contract

Client’s Applied AI mission is to power rapid business growth with gen AI. We are rapidly bringing Agentic AI solutions to Customer Engagement, Food, Auto, and Enterprise productivity. As we develop our products, we need to inform our strategy through rigorous quantitative research. This includes foundational work to develop a mature market understanding of our audience, development of measurement programs for sentiment and user journeys, and other strategic work across our portfolio. This UXR will partner with other UXRs on the team to build a program of best practices for implementing high-quality qualitative and quantitative research.

Our ideal candidate will have a blend of clear product vision, a high bar for craft, and the ability to lead by example through their work. They will drive collaboration, transparency, and clarity between multiple UX disciplines and partner seamlessly with PM, Eng, and Data Science to foster a culture of user-centric product development. We seek a candidate with experience in fast-moving 0-1 environments as well as experience scaling in larger enterprise organizations. This candidate should also have excellent communication skills – someone who is astute at deciphering the nuances of technically complex enterprise use cases in generative AI, articulating and championing a UX viewpoint and simple, elegant solutions for complex, data-rich workflows.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in conducting interviews, field studies, surveys, metrics programs, logs analysis, CUJ instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts, such as Cloud, APIs, and LLMs.
• Experience researching Enterprise Products
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic roadmaps with cross-functional leadership and manage multiple complex schedules to on-time delivery.
• Drive cohesive, holistic research programs and approaches that guide product strategy and vision across the Applied AI portfolio.
• Work effectively with UX and cross-functional partners to prioritize research in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Lead primary research such as field studies, interviews, surveys, and logs analysis.
• Become a domain expert in Client’s Cloud Applied AI products, technologies, user motivations, and market opportunities in order to incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations.
