Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in

Position Overview As a Phlebotomist, you'll be responsible for collecting blood specimens accurately and efficiently while creating a calm and reassuring experience for patients. You'll support lab operations and play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities - Perform venipunctures and capillary sticks following proper technique
- Label and handle specimens according to lab protocols
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide courteous and professional service to patients of all ages
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas
- Collaborate with clinical and lab teams for timely test processing
Qualifications - Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program or equivalent experience
- Current BLS certification
- National phlebotomy certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
