We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in Concord, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while supporting cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices promptly and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and manage W9 documentation for reporting purposes.
• Prepare and coordinate international wire transfers, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and manage related records.
• Post journal entries and accruals to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Verify customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable balances.
• Generate customer statements and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounts receivable and accounts payable issues.
• Troubleshoot transaction errors and provide reconciliation advice to teams.
• Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.• Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience with a solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in corporate tax, sales tax, and corporate tax returns.
• Strong skills in journal entries and general ledger management.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable working independently and in collaborative team settings.
• Familiarity with small business growth environments is a plus.
