Schedule: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Responsible for performing maintenance and installation of oilfield equipment on location. Supervises roustabout hands and provides day-to-day direction and training. Roustabout duties include building tank batteries wellhead tie-ins, building fences, changing out heaters, cleaning locations, and transporting oilfield equipment. Must be knowledgeable in heaters, separators, general oilfield maintenance, troubleshooting of horizontal batteries, and repair of line leaks. Must have a valid driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a drug test.

Timekeeping – Employees are responsible for accurately tracking their time by clocking in and out and entering ticket numbers into their timesheets. If a punch is missed, they must promptly notify their supervisor to ensure accurate records. Integrity in timekeeping is essential, and adherence to company policies is expected.

Accident Reporting – Employees are responsible for immediately reporting all accidents, incidents, and near-misses to their supervisor to ensure prompt action and a safe work environment.
Position Specific ExpectationsEquipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair – Responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing oilfield equipment while maintaining oilfield installations and locations.
Facility Maintenance and Construction – Constructs, installs, maintains, and repairs production sites and facilities, including tanks, heaters, valves, and other equipment at tank batteries, pump jacks, and leases throughout the day.
Physical Labor and Site Cleanup – Performs various physical tasks such as moving and loading heavy supplies, cleaning work areas, removing debris, climbing machinery, and performing ditching/digging work around production facilities.
Tool and Equipment Operation – Selects and uses the appropriate tools to repair and dismantle equipment/machinery and connect tanks and flow lines. Must have practical skills to operate tools and machinery. Uses hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes to complete dirt work, including covering spills and constructing earthen containment barriers.
Material Handling – Physically loads and unloads pipes and other materials without the use of tools or hoisting equipment.
Teamwork and Collaboration – Demonstrates excellent teamwork skills, working effectively with crew members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Work Schedule and Availability – Crews rotate weekends, requiring availability for late hours and overtime as needed.
