\n \n\n \nServes as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America
\n \n\n \nAdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country
\n \n\n \nWe are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year
\n \n\n \nYou Will Be Responsible For:
\n \n\n \nCollaborates with clinical and other administrative staff, and referring providers in navigating patients from treatment planning, medical management, and surveillance assuring patients have appropriate, timely medical and supportive services.
\n \n\n \nServe as an education resource for patients and families on treatment planning and medical management.
\n \n\n \nAssists patients with connecting to resources and support services
\n \n\n \nFacilitates communication between healthcare team, patients, other departments, and outside entities by answering phone calls, responding to emails and messages to/from EMR and patient portal.
\n \n\n \nAct as a liaison across multidisciplinary team to ensure proper orders, medical records, consents, and any other required documentation/criteria are received.
\n \n\n \nFacilitates on time coordination of care with physicians and supportive services departments.
\n \n\n \nMaintains a professional relationship with customers/patients and team members.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nWhat Will You Need:
\n \n\n \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
\n \n\n \nGraduate of an accredited school of nursing
\n \n\n \n1 years of professional nursing experience\n \n\n \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
\n \n\n \nBachelors degree in nursing
\n \n\n \n3 years of professional nursing experience in oncology\n \n\n \nLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
\n \n\n \nCurrent valid State of Florida RN license.
\n \n\n \nBasic Life Support (BLS)
\n \n\n \nLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
\n \n\n \nNational Certification: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
