POSITION SUMMARY: The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support for Operations and Quality Assurance projects. The role assists in maintaining health, food safety, and quality records. The Specialist will evaluate data for accuracy and regulatory compliance and generate compliance reports for management review and approval.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Collaborate with various Team Members throughout the organization

· Verify and validate food safety records, meat traceability logs and HACCP records

· Record and maintain all inspection findings from Environmental Public Health, Department of Agriculture Weights and Measures, US Department of Agriculture, and other regulatory bodies

· Support stores with temperature monitoring supply kits and troubleshooting

· Coordinate monthly HAZMAT collection reminders

· Support and update records for Food Handler and Food Manager Certifications

· Support stores as needed with Food Safety signage, equipment, etc.

· Update and maintain the manifest and annual training tracker

· Update, manage annual training records for Food Safety policies

· Maintain, update, and organize data of regulatory and internal compliance records

· Create, generate reports for compliance programs

· Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Adept in organizing, planning, prioritizing work, and communicating

• Proficient in both oral and written communication (BILINGUAL in Spanish is a plus)

• Confident working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

• Computer Proficient (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
