The Crewe lab uses a combination of mouse models, biochemistry, physiology, and cellular imaging, to study the regulation of extracellular vesicle (EV) production and how EVs signal to regulate metabolism. We are interested in how these EV-mediated signals contribute to pathology in obesity and diabetes with the hope that we can harness this information to treat human disease. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
