Job Description:

The Nursing Tech II performs specific patient care procedures (such as, phlebotomy, wound care, gastric and urethral tube insertion and bedside testing) under the direction of a licensed Nurse and performs specific support-procedures for the operation of a Nursing or Clinical Department. Operates patient monitoring systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent plus specialized, short-term training in medical / surgical patient care or the delivery of special care.
  • One to three years experience preferred. Receives on-the-job training and competency verification to perform primary functions.
  • Formal medical technician or military training preferred.
  • CNA preferred
  • BLS Required at time of hire
