Job Description

We are seeking an in house (non consulting), NetSuite Administrator for a large manufacturing company with locations in Boston, MA, Buffalo NY and London, Ontario.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the NetSuite ERP system, including user setup, configuration, customization, and integration. This role requires a strong background in ERP systems and the ability to travel up to 30% of the time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, blending business acumen with technical expertise, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee and enhance the day-to-day maintenance, health, and performance of the NetSuite environment. Optimize workflows by developing, testing, and deploying customizations and new functionality.

Vendor and Partner Management: Act as the primary contact for vendors, solution partners, integrators, and external IT resources. Manage communication, expectations, and deliverables to ensure successful collaboration and integration of NetSuite solutions.

User Support & Training: Provide training for new and existing NetSuite users, ensuring efficient system adoption and addressing user needs promptly. Customize user roles, create dashboards, and facilitate user acceptance testing.

Documentation & Communication: Maintain system documentation, define and document user requirements, and ensure seamless communication between internal teams and external partners.

Reporting & Dashboards: Design and manage dashboards for business leaders, develop custom reports, and implement Business Intelligence tools to highlight discrepancies and procedural issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with interdepartmental stakeholders to identify and document requirements, improve accounting workflows, and implement NetSuite expansions across business units and subsidiaries.

Continuous Improvement: Lead process reviews to identify opportunities for enhancement, streamline workflows, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform data extraction, system configuration, system release updates, and other duties as needed to support the organization's growth and operational needs.

Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the NetSuite application and integrations.

Stay Updated: Stay up to date with NetSuite updates and best practices to ensure the system is utilized to its full potential.

System Implementations: Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle's NetSuite ERP system, with a focus on NetSuite's manufacturing (advanced) module. Experience with NetSuite implementation and integration is required.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of NetSuite functionality, including user setup, configuration, customization, and integrations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio). Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and familiarity with MS Azure. Experience with Cisco/Meraki, VMware, or HyperV preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with end users and functional leaders.

Additional Requirements: Flexibility for after-hours support during critical events. Availability to commute to designated office locations 2-3 days per week. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NetSuite certification(s).

• Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.

• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with systems like SAP Concur, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

• Familiarity with general Finance and Accounting principles and their application to system management.

• Experience managing resources across several projects and priorities.
