Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and organized Medical Office Assistant to support our healthcare team in a hybrid work model , splitting responsibilities between on-site clinical support and remote administrative tasks . This role ensures the smooth operation of clinic functions while maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
In-Clinic Duties (Onsite):
Greet and check in patients
Schedule appointments and manage bookings
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and patient charts
Measure and record vital signs
Process referrals and requisitions
Assist with minor procedures and documentation as directed by clinicians
Remote Duties (Work-from-Home):
Answer phones, return voicemails, and manage emails professionally
Conduct appointment confirmations and follow-ups
Update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
Process prescription refill requests and faxes
Manage virtual visit logistics (e.g., sending links, tech troubleshooting)
Support Nurse Practitioners and other staff with documentation or data entry needs
