HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Garfield Heights, Ohio.

• Employment Type: Local Contract

** $3120 weekly pay for 12 x 4s, (3 x 12s is also available)

** Locals are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers — we do not discriminate between local and travel staff.

** ACLS requird

• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected;
• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care;
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department;
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures;
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse;
• Performs a variety of tasks;
• Communicate and educate patients and families;
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team;
• Carries out physician orders;
• Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs;
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required;
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition;
