About the Company: Our client is seeking a seasoned employment litigation attorney to join a dynamic team in the East Bay. The annual minimum billable hours target is approximately 1600.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of employment litigation experience, with a proven track record of leading matters on their own. The role will involve handling a diverse range of litigation including single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters as well as wage and hour matters including class, collective and PAGA actions. The role also requires providing employment advice and counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and drive litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Taking and defending key depositions and arguing motions in court.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, before administrative agencies, and during mediations.

Qualifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in academic performance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Minimum of 8+ years of litigation experience.
• Significant employment law experience.

Pay Range and Compensation Package: This position provides a competitive base salary range of approximately $160,000-$190,000 and a lucrative bonus structure for hours billed in excess of the minimum.
