Human Resources Specialist

• Location: Seattle, WA, 98144
• Hybrid Schedule
• Pay: $28-$36

Day-to-Day

• Responsible for all employee relations activities to include counseling and coaching.
• Identifies trends issues and recommends course of action
• Manages investigations as needed.
• Processes documents and forms necessary for the implementation of various human resources policies, programs, plans, procedures, and practices.
• Maintains all necessary records and files to support review and audit.
• Provide orientation, advice and ongoing information on human resources policies and procedures following up to include documentation.
• Assists with compiling, updating, verifying, generating and distributing department reports on personnel-related issues.
• Maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
• Travel frequently to geographic assignment.
• Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents.

Must Have:

• 1+ year supporting employee resources
• Experience discussing sensitive issues with employees, such as attendance and harassment
• Experience utilizing an internal instant messenger such as Teams or Slack

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Experience traveling to different locations
• Retail industry
