Salary: $25-$35/hr

Complete Construction is a culture-first organization that is enhancing our clients lives by beautifying the space they live in. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced General Carpenter. This full-time position will be on site with our residential remodel team and subcontractors. Our Carpenters will have excellent craftsmanship and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and support the team as we provide award winning service to our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry at the highest level as
  required. This includes all phases of general carpentry such as demolition, light framing and interior and exterior trims.

• Understands the scope of the work and discuss all requests for additional work with the Field Superintendent.

• Friendly and professional skills when interacting with clients, coworkers, and vendors.

• Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of the Field Super Intendent

• Ensure job site cleanliness and safety for both the clients and the workers.

• Always secure the house by locking and closing up openings (windows/doors/walls) for the night.

• Have a tool set that enables you to perform a majority of the tasks to a high standard.

• Maintain daily contact with the Field Superintendent informing them of progress, delays, and/or any surprises that arise, while respecting their role and chain of command.

• Follow directions for any changes on
  an appropriate timeline, clarifying ambiguous or complex situations and ensure you understand the correct details.

• Show respect for the home and coworkers by dressing in clean clothes, without holes or odors to work each day.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to help others in transferring knowledge for growth.

• Additional duties, as needed and assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience

• Comply with and maintain non-smoker and drug-free policy

• Maintain proper safety standards on site

• Valid North Carolina State Drivers License, proof of insurance, good driving record, and reliable transportation is required

• Must have smartphone and/or tablet with data service

• Highly organized, takes self-responsibility, high integrity, and accountability, you do the right thing even when no one is looking, positive glass-half-full attitude, inspires and appreciates others, an attitude of continuous improvement, inquisitive problem solver, natural leader, calm under pressure, decisive, active listener, professional written communication skills, loves to have fun.

• Maintain a valid drivers license and state required insurance.

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50-75lbs.
