Order Fulfillment Operations Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced professional to oversee and lead our order fulfillment operations. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, returns, and inventory-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of fulfillment processes, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end sales order fulfillment from receipt through final shipment.
• Lead and supervise a team responsible for picking, packing, and shipping in alignment with internal service and quality expectations.
• Oversee and execute key daily operational functions, including:
• Handling product returns
• Replenishing inventory from bulk storage to pick locations
• Receiving and storing incoming goods
• Performing regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Coordinate workflow and communications between fulfillment and other internal departments (e.g., marketing, warehousing, customer support, and inventory teams).
• Track team and individual productivity; identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Investigate fulfillment-related errors and develop corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule and manage outgoing shipments with various freight carriers.
• Monitor and maintain supply levels for packing and shipping materials.
• Support employee development and engagement for a team of 8–10+ direct reports, including overseeing attendance, approving time off, and conducting annual reviews.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in order fulfillment, distribution, or related operations roles.
• Proficiency with internal systems used for shipping, order entry, inventory management, and customer tracking.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities paired with a hands-on, solution-driven mindset.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Customer-focused, adaptable, and process-oriented.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Compensation: Commesurate with experience
