Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Customs Import Coordinator located in Plantation, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Customs Import Coordinator will be responsible for managing customs brokerage, handling import documentation, coordinating ocean shipments, and providing excellent customer service. Daily tasks include communication with clients and customs officials, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and tracking shipment progress to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customs Brokerage and Import processes
• Strong Communication skills for client and customs interactions
• Knowledge of Ocean shipment coordination
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in trade compliance and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage timely Customs clearance process ensuring 100% cargo pre-clearances
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Communicate timly ISF submission to all trade parties involved
• Update, track and trace operational files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing
• Monitor shipments as they move through Custaoms process to ensure compliance
• Report issues, delays and customs holds to resolve and minimize delays and charges
• Assist with verification of customs declaration and the submission to PGAs
