Psychiatrist - Collaborating Physician
Location: New York - Psychiatrist must be licensed and reside in New Jersey.

General Summary
As a collaborative physician, you oversee the care provided by nurse practitioners (NPs) at a healthcare facility. NPs diagnose, treat, and monitor patients daily. Your role involves reviewing patients' medical records regularly to ensure appropriate care and treatment. Our State and Regional Directors will provide daily oversight and support for the NPs.
Compensation ranges from $3,000 to $12,000 per year, based on part-time or full-time engagement.
Responsibilities
The psychiatrist collaborates with CHE APRN / PA in evaluating and diagnosing adult patients using DSM-5 criteria, developing care plans per APA and SAMSHA guidelines, including prescribing psychotropic medications.
The psychiatrist is available for consultation and quality review meetings as required by state regulations.
CHE hires, trains, audits, and provides daily supervision of the APRN / PA.
