Exciting Opportunity: Clinical Trials Nurse - Westchester

Are you ready to make a difference? We are looking for a Clinical Trials Nurse at our Westchester location. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a dedicated clinical research team, providing direct nursing care, conducting patient and study assessments, and offering education and support to patients and their families.

Your Role in Our Team

  • Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.
  • Facilitate the accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials.
  • Coordinate patient care activities and participate in studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials, including The Early Drug Development (EDD) Service.
  • Educate patients and their families about clinical trials and the specifics of proposed studies.
  • Provide direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, and support as an integral member of the clinical research team.
  • Collaborate with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective.
  • Implement standards for research protocols in compliance with regulatory and institutional guidelines.
  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment.

Key Qualifications

  • Current New York State RN license.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience.
  • 1.5 – 2 years of medical oncology experience required.
  • Clinical research nursing experience preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • BCLS certification.

Compensation and Working Conditions

Pay Range: $110,700.00 - $177,100.00

  • Hours: 10-hour shifts flexed between 8 AM - 7 PM.
  • Location: Westchester, N.Y.
