The Clinical Field Specialist will provide education on products within the Advanced Patient Monitoring portfolio through intra-operative case coverage, coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service education programs in the ICU, OR, and other acute care areas. They will also provide physicians and medical staff with clinical instructions to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to all aspects of patient outcome throughout continuum of care while anticipating and foreseeing obstacles and planning accordingly for smooth execution. The CFS is expected to advocate with clinicians to uncover other opportunities to expand the use for Advanced Patient Monitoring products, including identifying and training select hospital staff members to act as designated guides on BD products. Collaboration with sales reps and managers to implement a strategic plan of action in their respective territory is essential. The role also involves validating software and hardware updates in the field as applicable. The position requires travel within the territory and is looking for candidates living in the region. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care environment, an Associate's degree in Nursing or clinical field, and a proven understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology. Preferred qualifications include the ability to travel, a Bachelor’s degree, critical care and/or cardiac clinical experience, RN licensure, strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, experience in clinical or sales roles within a Medical Device company, proficiency in presenting, leadership in nursing, and ability to inspire change within hospitals or organizations. BD prioritizes on-site collaboration with a minimum of 4 days in-office presence per week for most roles, with different arrangements for remote or field-based positions.
