Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing, cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products according to company standards. This role requires working in a cold environment and adhering to strict safety and sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products according to specifications.
• Operate butchering equipment such as knives, saws, grinders, and slicers safely.
• Inspect meat for quality, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Weigh, package, and label meat products accurately for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following sanitation and hygiene protocols.
• Follow workplace safety regulations, including proper use of PPE in a cold warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production quotas and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter preferred.
• Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and handling techniques.
• Ability to work in a cold, refrigerated warehouse environment for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy products and stand for long hours.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for weighing and portioning meat.
