At Central Body, we’ve built our reputation on over four decades of trusted collision repair, exceptional customer service, and a deep commitment to doing things the right way. We’re a locally owned, family-oriented business that values integrity, craftsmanship, and teamwork, and we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Body Shop Manager to help lead our operations into the future. We are growing and proactively seeking additional team members for future growth and acquisitions.

As a Body Shop Manager, you’ll lead daily shop operations, ensuring quality repairs, efficient workflow, and great customer experiences. You’ll manage staff, optimize processes, and build strong relationships with customers and insurance partners. If you're a proven leader with a passion for automotive operations and people, this is your chance to make a real impact with a trusted local brand. At Central Body Company, we believe in rewarding hard work and supporting your growth, both personally and professionally. Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:

  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Earn commissions on sales and gross profit after just 90 days!
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • Retirement Support: Build your future with a 401(k) plan that includes an employer match.
  • Health Coverage You Can Count On: Access quality medical insurance through UnitedHealthcare, plus group-rate dental and vision plans.
  • Investing in Your Growth: Take advantage of tuition assistance to further your career.

YOUR ROLE

  • People Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise technicians and support staff. Schedule and assign work to maximize efficiency. Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers, understand service needs, and assess vehicle damage. Communicate repair plans, estimates, and timelines to customers and insurance adjusters. Address customer concerns and ensure professional service throughout.
  • Repair Planning: Prepare accurate repair estimates using CCC ONE software. Obtain repair authorizations and maintain proper documentation. Generate and manage invoices; ensure billing accuracy. Maintain service records and ensure adherence to OEM and industry standards. Ensure repair files are complete and accurate. Stay current on OEM procedures and insurance guidelines.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily shop operations and manage repair schedules. Assign tasks to technicians and monitor progress. Maintain quality control before, during, and after repairs. Manage inventory and order necessary parts and supplies. Maintain accounts receivable under $10,000 for 30+ days. Perform general housekeeping and other assigned tasks.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Knowledge: Minimum 3 years of experience in a collision repair shop in a leadership or management role, such as an Auto Body Shop Manager, Collision Shop Manager, Body Shop Manager, General Manager, or Regional Manager. Superior leadership skills proven through consistency and accountability. Prior experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) preferred. An entrepreneurial spirit displayed in self-motivation and professional growth.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff and customers. Ability to provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues effectively. Strong attention to detail, scheduling, and prioritization skills. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Proficient with CCC One management system preferred.
  • Ability: Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving check (Motor Vehicle Record) and felony/misdemeanor background check.
